The Jackson 5 became The Jacksons when they moved to CBS Records. The group, with Michael as lead songwriter, continued to be prolific performers and musicians. He continued to strike out solo at this time: after meeting with producer Quincy Jones on the set of The Wiz, he released Off The Wall in 1979, which spawned hits such as "Rock With You" and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough". It peaked at third on the Billboard 200, and sold millions of copies worldwide.
