The Jackson 5 signed on with local record label Steeltown a year later, before finally signing with Motown Records in 1968. The group took the distinction of having its first four singles - "I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save" and "I'll Be There" - hit the top slot in the Billboard Hot 100. At the same time, Michael was being called a "prodigy" for his immense musical talent, going on to release four solo albums, and making hits out of "Ben" (used as the theme for the movie of the same name) and "Got To Be There".
